ANDERSON is an experienced defender who reads the game very well.
Russell joined Argyle on loan from Sunderland in February 2008 and within hours of meeting up with his new team-mates, starred in a fabulous 2-0 Championship win at Southampton.
The Scottish international rose through the ranks at Aberdeen and spent 10 years at Pittodrie before Sunderland snapped him up in a £1m deal, but the early part of his Black Cats' career has been hampered by injury.
