TALENT SPOTTING
THE Argyle coaching staff were conspicuous by their absence in the 0-0 draw at Leeds United last weekend.
Pilgrims boss Tony Pulis explained that his back-room staff were out on assignment.
Pulis was joined in the dug-out by coach Geoff Crudgington but assistant manager Lindsay Parsons, and coaches David Kemp and Mark O'Connor were nowhere to be seen.
"My coaching staff will probably be away watching other games for the rest of the season," said Pulis.
"They're not going overseas at the moment but that may come in the future.
"I think Wolves brought eight members of staff when they came down, but it doesn't make much difference to me.
"I've worked with smaller clubs, where I've done it all myself.
"Obviously, it's nice to have Kempy and Mark alongside me but the majority of the work has been done now, the players know the system and what is expected.

"We can get through the games now, and there is more important matters to be tended to.
"I trust their judgement - if I'm here with the team, I expect them to be out scouting for players for next season, especially at this time of the year."
