KRIS OP
ARGYLE captain Krisztián Timár was due to undergo an operation on his fractured skull on Friday afternoon.
The Hungarian defender shattered his forehead last Sunday, during the Pilgrims' 1-0 Coca-Cola Championship defeat at Wolves.
The precise result of the clash with Wanderers' defender George Elokobi will only become apparent when surgeons examine the wound, but it is likely that Kris will need a plate, or plates, inserted to his head.
"We will know more when they look at what has happened," said Argyle physio Paul Maxwell.
"They will keep him in for a day or two, so he should be back at the club in the middle of next week, for a couple of weeks, to begin his recovery.
"By pre-season, he will be able to do everything the other lads are doing, except heading the ball."
